Training type
Fuel Tank Safety - Phase 1 & 2 - interactive presentation + exam. Program in accordance with Appendix IV to AMC 145.A.30(e) and 145.B.10(3) for EASA Part 145 personnel and Appendix XII to AMC to M.A.706(f) and M.B.102(c) for EASA Part CAMO personnel.
About the course
Fuel Tank Safety (FTS) refers to the principles which apply to aeronautical design, certification, training, operations and maintenance while working on structure and fuel-tank-safety-related components on the aircraft.
Many investigations of accidents/incidents in aviation have revealed FTS related issues to be an important element in the chain of unfortunate events.
